Cookies Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage (together, "cookies" where the context allows). This policy explains how Squibb uses cookies and storage across our sites — squibb.ai (marketing site), app.squibb.ai (the product), and affiliate.squibb.ai (affiliate portal) — why, and the choices you have. We use analytics tools to understand how our sites and product are used, and the Meta Pixel to measure our own advertising, as described in Section 4. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, those tools stay off until you accept them. We do not sell personal information for money.
1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Required for sign-in, security, and core functionality. These cannot be switched off.

2. Functional / Preference Storage
Remember your preferences and in-product state. Blocking these won't break the Service, but it will forget your settings.

3. Affiliate Attribution Cookies
Set only when you arrive through an affiliate or referral link (a URL containing ?via= or ?ref=). They attribute your visit to the referring partner so referrals can be credited and any referral discount applied at checkout.

When a referral link is used, our servers also log the click (visitor ID, page, referring site, browser user-agent, and a hashed IP address) for attribution and fraud prevention; this log does not set additional cookies. These cookies are set whenever a referral link is used, in every region. They are not analytics or advertising cookies and are not switched by the choice described in Section 6; you can remove them in your browser at any time.
4. Analytics and Advertising Measurement
We use analytics tools on the marketing site and in the product to measure usage and improve the Service, and the Meta Pixel to measure the advertising we run for Squibb. When they load depends on where you are and what you have chosen:
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. None of the tools in this section load until you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Decline", they stay off and we do not ask again for six months. If we cannot tell which country you are visiting from, we apply this rule.
- Everywhere else. They load when a page loads, with no banner, unless you have chosen "Decline" under "Cookie settings".
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends this signal, we treat it as a decline in every region: the tools do not load.

The analytics providers act as our service providers. Meta receives the pixel events under its own terms; we do not use the pixel to build audiences from your campaign or prospect data. When the tools are off for you, the server-side copy is off too: your checkout and purchase are not reported to Meta.
5. Third Parties You May Encounter During Specific Flows
The following services appear only when you take a specific action, and may set their own cookies on their own domains, governed by their own policies:

We do not embed payment scripts in our own pages; checkout happens on Stripe's hosted pages.
6. Your Choices
- Cookie settings. The "Cookie settings" link in the footer of squibb.ai reopens the choice at any time, in every region. "Accept" turns the tools in Section 4 on; "Decline" turns them off, removes the cookies they set, and is remembered for six months. The choice is stored in a cookie shared by squibb.ai and app.squibb.ai, so one answer covers the marketing site and the product in that browser.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the tools in Section 4 do not load and no checkout or purchase is reported to Meta. You do not need to do anything else.
- "Do Not Sell or Share". The Meta Pixel counts as advertising measurement, and some U.S. state laws treat it as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. Choosing "Decline" in "Cookie settings" or sending Global Privacy Control opts you out. You can also adjust your ad preferences in your Meta account settings, or email support@squibb.ai.
- Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings, and a content blocker stops the analytics and pixel scripts from loading. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and core functionality.
7. Changes
We keep this policy current as our use of cookies and storage changes; material updates will be reflected here with a new "Last Updated" date and, where required, fresh consent.
